Trump was sworn into office for a second term, the Trump White House issued a list of priorities President Trump will pursue in office. As it relates to energy, the announcement states:\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><em>\u201cThe President will unleash American energy by ending Biden\u2019s policies of climate extremism, streamlining permitting, and reviewing for rescission all regulations that impose undue burdens on energy production and use, including mining and processing of non-fuel minerals.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p class=\"p1\">Chris Hamilton, President of the West Virginia Coal Association said \u201cPresident Trump has consistently demonstrated his dedication to coal and the hardworking men and women who mine it.
